1. Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Program
8-Week MBSR Session

A deep dive into mindfulness, offered quarterly, following the program designed by Jon Kabat-Zinn for use in medical and community settings – training includes 8 weekly 2.5-hour experiential sessions and a full-day silent retreat. Discussion and support provided to help you develop a daily mindfulness practice involving techniques such as breath awareness, seated and walking meditation, mindful movement/yoga, mindful eating and communication.
2. Mindfulness Foundations
Mindful Self-of-the-Therapist: Introduction to Mindfulness

2-hour training includes mindful assessment, experiential practice and reflection, and tips for developing both formal and informal mind-body practices.
Building a Mindful Therapy Practice: Mindfulness Applications for Clients

2-hour training includes a discussion of science and benefits, strategies and sample interventions, experiential practice, and connection to a network of mindful therapists
3. Special Topics
Stress: Improving Mental Health with Mindfulness

1-hour training includes a conversation about the impact of stress on mental health, presentation of benefits and basic “how-to” of mindfulness-based stress reduction practices.
Self-Stories: Exploring Narratives using Mindfulness and Creativity

1-hour training includes guided story visualization, discussion about self-stories, and use of mindfulness and creativity practices to accept and the re-story dominant narrative
4. Mindfulness Peer Learning Circle
Connect with other mental health providers on a quarterly basis to explore mindfulness research and share learning and ideas for using mindfulness in your therapy practice. Graduates of the MBSR Program are invited to join this learning community.
